Sirin Thada

I had the pleasure of meeting Sirin Thada, who showed in one of our shows for Greenpoint Gallery Night.
She is very lovely and her illustrations are too!

Gouache, pencil on paper.

She also depicts stories at I Stole This From You, forming a collaboration in the most interesting way. She invites readers to submit their own tale of personal relics, hand me downs, or stolen tokens, and illustrates the said object along with a submitted story.

Another new post on I Stole This From You!
And yes, keep sending your stories in — I am so happy you are taking the time to share your secrets with me. Love it.
Read about the project here, and click here to find out how to submit your own story.
And thank you as always!

All Light & Shadows

My friend, Eva Wildes, came by our place the other day and developed a nice picture of our roof.
